It seems as though women get much more attention from men. As oppose to men, as a whole, getting attention from women. why do men always have to chase the women? In such a world that we live in today, with women's rights and equalities. Why can't women change things up in that regard?

are you always on my mind. no matter what i do or where i go, you sit on the edges of my mind, waiting for a quiet moment of the day to come to the surface and make me remember. i loved you, still do. and yet, i cant get over you. you've made me feel more alive than i ever have, and yet at the same time you make me want to stop living, because there's no way we can be together. maybe its because of all the firsts we shared, or all the midnight talks of the future and present. i care about you more than i've cared about anything in my life. and yet, it doesnt matter. i search every day, looking for someone better, hoping to find a reason to forget you. but everytime i seem to, they say or do something that reminds me of you. i feel infected. i love you more and more every day, and you probably dont give a damn. i just wish i could find someone to love me the way i love you. and i hate that i cant just turn off my emotions for you.

Why do i try and
continue with life?
All the world around me is filled with strife.
Everyone hateful,
Everyone lonely,
No one cares,
Not one to show me.
How to be cared for,
Or how to care,
What's the point in living,
if no one is there?
I just want a soul,
to couple my own.
And give me a ray of hope,
In this dark world I've been shown.
